It's so hard to rank Spoon albums. Right now, the Flaming Lips fabulous, "Superman" just came on on my Ipod, and I was disappointed it wasn't a Spoon song from this album. That's what's so gajeezy about this album, is that nothing stands out, but yet, play the 80th percentile of the album, and it can run with Seattle Slew.
It's impossible to explain why Spoon is so grand, but they are. If you hate Spoon, you don't understand why people create music. That's probably the best compliment I can give them right now.
