39. Picaresque - The Decemberists

So yeah, I'm now saying this is my favorite album by them. I didn't include the first one because honestly, I just haven't heard it enough. I know some say it's their best, but to be honest, I can't even think of the title right now.

Even though Picaresque doesn't have the stand out songs their other albums have, it's the most consistent. They do great work with strings on this one, and this album overall has the best feel. There, no more talk about this Neutral Milk Hotel cover band. I promise.
