33. Clap Your Hands Say Yeah!

It's always nice when you don't have to put an album title in because of a self-titled album. I believe it was the dawn of two double aught six when I did some reading on the best albums of two double aught five and found this one, and oomja's "Z".

As a huge T-Heads fan, it's almost impossible not to like this homage. After all, you're talking to the guy who loves the YMD (who didn't make the countdown) because they sound much like the Beastie Boys.

Unfortunately for CYHSY, which is not to be confused with CSNY, their career is already in the rearviewmirror and they're probably going to catch Broken Social Scene on fame's backside man.

When artists come up with follow ups, they do one of two things. They do the virtual photocopy of the first a la the Doors Strange Days or they do the squirrely artistic thing. CYSHY went with the latter, and aside from "Satan Said Dance", it was stamped with a "DEAD" like they were at the coroner's office. Hopefully for them, the third time will be a charm.
